Tier 1 Mining Opportunity | 6-Month Fixed Term
Chandler Macleod is seeking experienced Pump Crew / Dewatering Operators to join a tier-one mining operation in Central Queensland.
These are 6-month fixed-term contracts supporting an upcoming wet-season uplift, working Day Shift / Night Shift across operational crews.
What’s on offer
- $84.64/hr starting rate
- 6-month fixed-term contract
- Days & Nights (rotating shifts)
- Multiple positions available (up to 4 openings)
- Opportunity to work in a well-established Mine Services environment with strong safety systems and support
- Operate and maintain dewatering / pumping equipment and associated infrastructure
- Monitor water levels, flows, and pump performance; respond to changing site conditions
- Conduct routine inspections, basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance
- Complete pre-starts, hazard identification, and required documentation
- Work collaboratively within crews to support safe, continuous operations (particularly during wet season)
- Demonstrated dewatering / pump operations experience (essential)
- LeGrA (Leaders in Geotechnical Risk Assessment) experience (highly regarded / preferred)
- Strong safety focus and ability to follow site procedures and permit systems
- Ability to work days/nights and in changing weather conditions
- Current relevant tickets/licences (please include what you hold in your application)
