Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, accurately documenting inventory, and ensuring products are handled and stored safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare, package, label, and stage products for shipment.
• Verify quantities, product information, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies or damaged materials.
• Organize and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare bills of lading, shipping labels, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, transportation, and other departments to ensure timely movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and complete shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/shipping systems.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification may be required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the position.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move packages/materials weighing up to [X] pounds.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
