Manager ­ Engineering Strategy and Planning (ADAS)(YOK)

The position is intended to be a central support function to the ADAS Engineering in Asia
Focus is on strategic projects and initiatives for Asia, position holder is capable to lead special projects.
Global scope is to align with Strategy and Planing with regards to Asia regional interests. 
Broad experience with ADAS technologies and products as well as excellent communication skills are required.  
Strong relationship and interaction with the engineering headquarter is required, therefore the position is preferably an Expat assignment.

Mission / Purpose of Position
Management of Strategic Projects and Planning Activities for Engineering Asia. Periodic Reporting for Engineering and ensuring transparency. Alignment with global Strategy and Planning, including Interface to other BUs , as well as budget cycle and resource planning for Asia. Supporting Engineering Management Initiatives in the Region.

Area of Responsibility / Tasks
▪ Coordinate the Engineering Budget & Resource Planning for Asia
▪ Align with Global Strategy & Planning and with R&D Controlling
▪ Coordinate Asia input to product roadmap and engineering strategy
▪ Align the product roadmap and communication in the region
▪ Support PD for roll­out the Engineering processes across projects in Asia (lead PD)
▪ Support for Workload planning and Resource Allocation in Engineering
▪ Customer discusison on new Products and Technologies
▪ Managing strategic projects & initiatives defined by Engineering Asia
▪ Ensure Monthly Reporting and Transparency to the Management
▪ Coordinate the local base development activities
▪ Support the Engineering teams to optimize processes 
▪ Support Engineering with preparation and execution of strategic topics 
▪ Support for setting up partnerships and colloborations for Engineering in Japan
▪ Preparation and execution of workhops and meetings
▪ Support for Competence development in ADAS Japan and Korea

Requirements

＜Knowledge and Experiences＞
・Leadership experience in ADAS Engineering
・Project management, customer handling, team motivation in BU ADAS
・Systems-engineering, HW/SW/MD processes for ADAS Products
・Global projects and line organizations in ADAS Engineering
・Products, innovations, roadmap with ADAS Products


Education / Certification: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or equivalent
Professional Experience : 
>5 years of project management experience
>5 years of experience in automotive systems engineering
Project and/or Process Experience:
- automotive systems engineering
- engineering management, planning processes 
- advanced, base and application engineering
- driver assistance and automated driving functions
Leadership Experience : > 10 years of disciplinary leadership in R&D
Intercultural / International Experience: 
> cultural experience with diverse international teams and collaborations
