Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports across multiple entities
- Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
- Month-end close including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Assist with statutory reporting, compliance obligations, and audit support
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and internal policies
- Contribute to process documentation and improvement initiatives within the finance function
- CA or CPA qualified
- Audit background essential
- Strong technical accounting skills with experience in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and IFRS, with the ability to apply these practically in a large, operationally complex organisation
- Experience with statutory reporting and compliance obligations under current reporting frameworks
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. TechnologyOne, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Immediately available or on a very short notice period
