Senior Manager - Operational Resilience

Our client is a major Australian superannuation fund, currently building out their resilience function as part of a broader uplift in operational risk capability.

They're seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead Operational Resilience, taking ownership of business continuity, crisis management and disaster recovery across the organisation. This is a genuinely senior, high-visibility role, you'll sit within the leadership team reporting to the Head of Risk, with regular exposure to the Executive Committee, and lead the strategic delivery of CPS230 and CPS234 obligations alongside change execution, technology and data privacy risk.

You'll lead and grow a team, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to build genuine resilience capability, not just maintain a compliance framework, but actively shape and improve how the organisation prepares for and responds to disruption.

About you

• 15+ years' experience in business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery or operational resilience
• Proven experience operating within a Line 2 risk function, ideally with direct exposure to APRA prudential standards (CPS230/CPS232 or equivalent)
• Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to build and develop a team
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, comfortable engaging and coaching senior executives
• Background in banking, insurance, superannuation, telco, mining or energy
• Tertiary qualification required; relevant risk, IT or finance accreditations highly regarded
