Senior Manager - Risk & Resilience

Our client is a major Australian financial services organisation, currently building out a dedicated resilience function as part of a broader uplift in risk capability.

They're seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead Risk & Resilience, taking ownership of business continuity, crisis management and disaster recovery. This is a genuinely senior, high-visibility role — you'll sit within the leadership team, with regular exposure to senior executives, and lead the strategic delivery of prudential resilience obligations alongside change execution, technology and data risk.

You'll lead and grow a team, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to build genuine resilience capability, not just maintain a compliance framework, but actively shape and improve how the organisation prepares for and responds to disruption.

About you

• 15+ years' experience in business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery or operational resilience
• Proven experience operating within a Line 2 risk function, ideally with direct exposure to APRA prudential standards or equivalent
• Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to build and develop a team
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, comfortable engaging and coaching senior executives
• Tertiary qualification required; relevant risk, IT or finance accreditations highly regarded
