This well-respected NSW Government organisation is seeking two experienced specialists to join its dynamic Government & Parliamentary Services division.
Playing a key role in supporting the growth and development of NSW, this department is looking for professionals who can bring strong government experience and a proactive approach to these important roles.

ASAP start through to 30 October 2026, based in Macquarie Park.

Two positions are available:

• Parliamentary Services Specialist
• Senior Ministerial Briefings Officer

The Job…..
In these Government & Parliamentary Services roles, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Parliamentary Services Specialist

• Draft high-quality parliamentary and ministerial responses.
• Manage time-critical, sensitive and politically complex matters.
• Apply sound political judgement and align responses with government priorities.
• Develop clear, concise and politically attuned parliamentary products.
• Manage competing priorities and tight deadlines independently.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and SMEs to deliver quality outcomes.

Senior Ministerial Briefings Officer

• Research and develop high-quality ministerial briefing products.
• Analyse and consolidate information into clear, accurate and concise briefings.
• Coordinate multiple inputs and manage briefing requests from start to finish.
• Work with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure accurate and relevant content.
• Undertake quality assurance, document control and knowledge management.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver briefings within required timeframes.

You…..
To be successful in these roles, you must have experience in the following areas:

Parliamentary Services Specialist

• Specialist knowledge of parliamentary products, processes and ministerial engagement.
• Experience independently drafting clear, professional and politically attuned responses.
• Strong client engagement and relationship management skills.
• Sound understanding of government operations, priorities and political sensitivities.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work and competing deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong judgement and attention to detail.

Senior Ministerial Briefings Officer

• Experience writing ministerial briefings, correspondence or similar communications in a government setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research and consolidate information into clear, accurate briefings.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, high workloads and tight deadlines.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
