The Job
  
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day financial accounting function while supporting month-end reporting, compliance and a range of finance transformation projects.
  
You will be responsible for the following duties:  

• Assisting with month-end close, journals and financial reporting
• Managing prepayments, accruals and fixed assets
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and associated reconciliations
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting income statement reporting
• Providing analysis and commentary on monthly financial results
• Assisting with external audit requirements and statutory reporting
• Supporting finance systems, process improvement and automation initiatives
• Contributing to finance transformation projects, including system enhancements and workflow improvements
• Providing general financial accounting support across the broader finance team  

You
  
To be successful, you'll be a technically capable Financial Accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and thrives on improving processes.
  
To be successful in this role, you'll bring the following experience, skills and personal qualities:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a financial accountant
• Degree qualified in accounting, commerce or finance and CA or CPA qualification (or be nearing completion)
• Experience gained within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm, complemented by commercial accounting experience is highly regarded
• Experience using NetSuite is advantageous
• Exposure to SaaS, technology or other high-growth businesses
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
