The Job
Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within financial services compliance.
Working closely with lending, collections, hardship and customer service teams, you'll play an important role in supporting the organisation's compliance framework, helping to ensure regulatory obligations are met while contributing to fair customer outcomes and continuous improvement across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory obligations and internal policies.
- Conducting compliance reviews, testing and file audits across operational teams.
- Reviewing customer files and business processes to assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining compliance, breach and incident registers.
- Assisting with regulatory change initiatives and compliance projects.
- Preparing compliance reports, dashboards and management reporting.
- Supporting investigations, remediation activities and corrective action plans.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Approximately 2 years experience within Compliance, Risk, Quality Assurance or Audit, ideally within financial services.
- Relevant qualifications in Compliance, Risk, Finance, Business, Law or a related discipline will be highly regarded
- Exposure to consumer or commercial lending environments
- An understanding of NCCP, responsible lending obligations and ASIC regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to continue learning and developing your compliance career.
