Job Description:
As a Laser / Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting and press brake machinery to manufacture precision metal components to customer specifications. The successful Laser / Press Brake Operator will work from engineering drawings and production schedules to ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Daily duties for the Laser / Press Brake Operator will include:
- Operating laser cutting and press brake machines
- Setting and adjusting machinery for production runs
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Measuring and inspecting finished components for quality
- Performing basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Working closely with production and engineering teams
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to production deadlines
This Laser / Press Brake Operator role offers excellent working hours on a dayshift pattern, including an early finish every Friday to support a strong work-life balance.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Laser / Press Brake Operator or similar manufacturing role
- Experience operating CNC laser and press brake machinery
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Reliable and motivated approach to work
