Job Description:
As a Laser / Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting and press brake machinery to manufacture precision metal components to customer specifications. The successful Laser / Press Brake Operator will work from engineering drawings and production schedules to ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Daily duties for the Laser / Press Brake Operator will include:

  • Operating laser cutting and press brake machines
  • Setting and adjusting machinery for production runs
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Measuring and inspecting finished components for quality
  • Performing basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to production deadlines

This Laser / Press Brake Operator role offers excellent working hours on a dayshift pattern, including an early finish every Friday to support a strong work-life balance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Laser / Press Brake Operator or similar manufacturing role
  • Experience operating CNC laser and press brake machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Reliable and motivated approach to work
