Working Hours:
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Job Description:
As Purchasing and Logistics Manager, you will lead purchasing, logistics and stores operations, ensuring materials are procured efficiently to support manufacturing and project delivery. The Purchasing and Logistics Manager will develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, improve delivery performance and manage inventory while leading a multi-disciplinary team. Working closely with Operations, Engineering and Finance, the Purchasing and Logistics Manager will drive continuous improvement, implement KPIs, reduce supply chain risk and optimise logistics processes. This Purchasing and Logistics Manager role also involves supporting strategic sourcing, production planning and business-wide operational improvements.
Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Purchasing and Logistics Manager or in a senior supply chain leadership role.

Manufacturing or engineering background.

Strong supplier negotiation and strategic sourcing expertise.

Experience leading purchasing, logistics and stores teams.

Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (IFS or similar).

CIPS qualification desirable.

Understanding of machining or precision engineering advantageous.
