Manufacturing Helper - 1st Shift

Job Overview

Nesco Resource is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Manufacturing Helper to join a growing manufacturing team in Lakeland. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous manufacturing experience who are looking for long-term employment with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist production team members with daily manufacturing operations
• Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming production jobs
• Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures
• Perform product branding, labeling, and packaging
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete required quality checks and production documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Support and assist with training other team members when needed

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic math skills
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds on a continuous basis
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and stretching
• Must be reliable and willing to work overtime and weekends when required
