Deputy Manager – Learning Disabilities Location: Wolverhampton Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join a small residential service supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Deputy Manager or an experienced Senior Support Worker/Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career. The service provides high-quality, person-centred support within a homely environment, helping individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. The Role As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service, maintaining high standards of care and supporting the development of the staff team. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the Registered Manager with the operational management of the service Leading and motivating the staff team to deliver exceptional person-centred care Assisting with staff supervision, training, and development Supporting compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards Monitoring care plans, risk assessments, and support documentation Building positive relationships with service users, families, and external professionals Acting as the Registered Manager's deputy in their absence Requirements Previous experience within Learning Disabilities and/or Autism services Experience in a supervisory, senior, or management role within social care Good understanding of person-centred support and positive behavioural approaches Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care essential; Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards Full UK driving licence preferred What's on Offer?
