The Company
Our client is a NSW Government organisation supporting the agricultural sector and responding to community enquiries during periods of increased operational demand.
They are seeking 20 enthusiastic Call Centre professionals to join their team on a temporary contract based onsite in Orange, from ASAP to 30 November 2026.
The role operates 9.5 hours per day, 57 hours per week, on a 6 days on, 1 day off roster, with the day off varying each week. Standard hours are 8:00am–6:00pm, including a 30-minute lunch break, with the hotline operating from 8:00am–5:00pm. Weekday and weekend overtime will be required.

The Job
Reporting through to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Respond to enquiries from members of the community and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Maintain currency with hotline scripts, response information and relevant processes.
- Accurately record conversations, actions taken and other relevant information.
- Enter quality data into response management systems, including hotline event logs.
- Complete case notes, data entry and administrative follow-up activities.
- Identify and report issues that may impact response activities, including WHS incidents.
- Report progress, issues and outcomes to the Hotline Team Leader.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver accurate and timely public information in a fast-paced environment.
You
To qualify for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the personal qualities below:
- Experience in customer service, contact centre, community engagement or similar roles.
- Knowledge of NSW agriculture, industries and key stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage public enquiries calmly and accurately in a fast-paced, changing environment.
