Our client is seeking a Compliance Administrator to join their Compliance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, working full-time onsite in Marrickville.
This junior-level role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience within compliance and financial crime operations. Initially, you will support a customer screening project, providing a strong introduction to AML/CTF processes, before having the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of the Compliance team.

Our client is seeking a Compliance Administrator to join their Compliance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, working full-time onsite in Marrickville.
This junior-level role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience within compliance and financial crime operations. Initially, you will support a customer screening project, providing a strong introduction to AML/CTF processes, before having the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of the Compliance team.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conducting customer screening checks, including PEP, sanctions and adverse media screening
- Reviewing customer information and documentation and identifying any discrepancies or potential concerns
- Assisting with KYC and customer verification activities
- Supporting basic fraud and financial crime checks and escalating potential issues
- Updating customer records and maintaining accurate compliance documentation
- Liaising with internal teams to obtain or clarify information where required
- Providing general administrative support across the Compliance team
- Following internal compliance processes, policies and regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
- Minimum 6-12 months previous experience in the workforce, ideally within administration, customer service or operations
- Exposure to financial crime, compliance, AML/KYC or financial services would be highly regarded but is not essential
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with customer information and data
- Comfortable following processes and working within a regulated environment
- Enthusiastic, proactive and genuinely keen to learn
- Willing to get involved, take on new tasks and develop your knowledge of compliance and financial crime operations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
