The Opportunity
As the senior clinical expert within the robotic service, you'll combine advanced perioperative practice with education, leadership, and service development.
Working alongside the Theatre Services Manager, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding robotic capability while ensuring exceptional patient outcomes across an increasing volume of complex surgical procedures.

Beyond your own clinical practice, you'll become the go-to expert for robotic surgery—supporting staff development, introducing best practice, and helping establish a sustainable programme that continues to grow for years to come.

Surgical Specialties You'll work across a highly specialised robotic surgical programme including:

• Gynaecological Surgery
• Urology
• General Surgery

As the robotic programme continues to expand, you'll play a key role in supporting future specialty growth and clinical innovation.
Your Role As part of the senior perioperative team, you will:

• Lead clinical excellence across robotic theatre services
• Support the continued growth of the Da Vinci programme
• Mentor and coach theatre nurses developing robotic competencies
• Partner with surgeons to optimise robotic theatre efficiency
• Drive education, innovation and evidence-based practice
• Support quality improvement initiatives
• Assist with workforce planning and succession development
• Champion outstanding patient outcomes and clinical safety

About You
You are an experienced robotic theatre nurse who is passionate about clinical excellence and enjoys helping others succeed.
You will bring:

• Current Annual Practising Certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
• Extensive recent experience within Da Vinci robotic surgery
• Strong experience across robotic Gynaecology, Urology and General Surgery
• A genuine passion for education, coaching and mentoring
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• High clinical standards with exceptional attention to detail
• A collaborative leadership style
• Long-term commitment to growing robotic surgery services

Applicants with dedicated Da Vinci robotic experience gained within New Zealand or Singapore are particularly encouraged to apply.
