THE ROLE:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team and work closely with the Commercial Manager on high-value modular construction projects.

The role offers broad exposure across procurement, cost control, variations, contract administration and commercial management.

  • Support project cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting
  • Prepare valuations, cost tracking reports and project budgets
  • Manage variation pricing and maintain variation registers
  • Work closely with engineering, production and planning teams to quantify project changes
  • Support procurement activities and supplier negotiations
  • Review subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Assist with tender preparation and bid submissions
  • Support contract administration, commercial correspondence and project reporting

THE PERSON:

This role is ideal for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking to develop within a technically advanced manufacturing and construction environment. Candidates from construction, M&E, manufacturing, modular construction, civil engineering or specialist contracting backgrounds will all be considered.

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
  • Typically 2-5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
  • Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing or specialist contracting environments
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with project costs, budgets and financial reporting
  • Good Excel and systems skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
  • Ambitious and eager to progress within a growing business
