Hardware Engineer

Mission

Hardware engineering role of Automotive interior control unit for Japanese OEMs

• Interior Smart Control(Radar/Interior Camera/Display/Face plate/Interior switch modules)
• Interior Smart Devices(Steering wheel & powertrain products based on the Magnetic & Capacitive sensing)
• Other historical Switch and Sensor products

Product development

• Work closely with the project team to contribute the RFI/RFQ for new business opportunities from Japan OEMs
• Technical interface for HW activities between the customers and Internal team
• Build the hardware block design based on the system requirement and architecture.
• Deliver the HW deliverables(Schematic,eBOM,DJF,HDC and so on) for the assigned projects and tasks with external resource on time
• Secure the eBOM considering all requirements from system and economics targets with the purchasing
• Lead the layout design activities with the layout design resource.
• Work closely with the other department heads to achieve the product design with DFM & DFT using Magnetic/Optical/Capacitive sensing

Management & Competency

• Assistance and escalation problems in project in global DRs to assure DR with GEEDS in green/yellow
• Launch LLCs in projects and present in Technical Committee
• Pre/Post production support
• Escalate problems in Single List Issue and contribute the team to close the issues
• Continuous improvement to assure efficiency indicators mapping and planning
• Support the Electronic Building Block activities as global/local standardization.

• CADENCE/Zuken – Schematics Design – Layout Review
• SYMETRIX/SIMPLIS – To simulate worst cases and global functionality
• PLM Target- To assure traceability for all changes

Requirements

Education

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering

Experience

• Over 5 years in Electronics Development with MCU for mass production in Automotive
• OEM experience leading an automotive electrical design for TOYOTA/Nissan/HONDA/Other Japanese OEMs
• CAD for circuit diagram/ schematic.
• Schematic design experience of microcontroller application. Experience of SoC application is preferable.
• Schematic design experience of CAN and LIN application.
• Power supply circuit design experience (LDO, protection circuit) Experience of DCDC circuit is preferable.
• Heat dissipation design experience.
• Experience to electronics design of Radar products or Capacitive sensing products are required.
