IT/OT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer

As an IT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for hands-on management of all DC sites to ensure that all components of the technical infrastructure are in compliance with KDCH Operational Technology (OT) Standards.

What you will do:

• Manage and support technical infrastructure including VMware, Windows Servers, Active Directory Domain Controllers, and Backup/Recovery systems.
• Provide operational support for OT LAN/WAN environments and enforce cybersecurity controls, including firewall administration, aligned with Incident and Problem Management processes.
• Lead and support IT and OT projects such as Office 365 deployment, video conferencing systems, industrial control IT systems, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Perform proactive maintenance including Windows/Linux patching (both security and feature updates) and ensure backup and recovery readiness.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for servers, storage, backup systems, LAN, security, and configuration details.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ongoing server and infrastructure management. 

Technical Scope & Weightage

• Network & Security (35%): Cisco switches, Fortinet/Palo Alto firewalls, WAN/LAN.
• Enterprise IT/OT Systems (40%): HP/Dell servers, Windows OS, Domain Controllers, Azure Cloud administration, enterprise storage, and backup systems.
• Patch Management & Backup/Recovery (10%).
• VMware Administration (10%).
• ICS/OT Vendor Systems (5%).

What you will need: 

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in managing DC networks including LAN, WAN, WiFi, and firewalls.
• 8-10 years of experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Azure Cloud, and security products.
• Strong experience in IT/OT environments within data centres supporting systems like BMS, DCIM, EMS.
• Knowledge of enterprise servers, storage platforms, and backup solutions.
