PD Customer Lead (PDCL)

General Description (Purpose of the placement, Scope of program):

Responsible of all aspects of Program Launch execution for a specific customer, from Pursuit to Launch and up to Service of parts.
It covers achieving customer satisfaction at company program profitability commitment.
CL directly leads a team of Chief Program Engineers covering multiple programs with potentially products covering Visteon product
portfolio, coordinating with other departments like Operation, Purchasing, Tech Sales and Sales

Specific Responsibilities (Detailed information of the position's R&R):

•Oversight and responsibility for all product deliverables with their customer/PL
•Budget and resource management at the customer level
•Resources management and leveling between programs within the customer/PL
•Third-level customer and internal escalation owner
•Responsible for engineering effort and delivery inputs (compliance matrix, TDR, RIOs, etc.) of Pursuit business
•System gate signoff and Visteon Product Development Standard (VPDS) gate pre-approvals
•Strategic customer engagement starting at RFI/RFQ stage
•Customer SOW review/approval
•Drive closure on warranty/QR engineering-related issues

Requirements

Required skills and experiences:

Automotive Experience (Tier1 or OEM) > 15y
Engineering / Program Launch Execution > 10y
Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills (internally & externally) in a global environment
Strategic Oversight and responsibility for all product deliverables with their customer/PL

Preferred skills and expeiences:

Cockpit Electronics experience
Software process knowledge
Manufacturing process knowledge
Intimacy with specific customer

Education:

Bachelor of Science, Electrical, Computer Science or similar
