IP Network Engineer

My client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and management of large-scale IP networks within a telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support IP-based telecom networks
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues
• Implement and maintain network security policies and solutions
• Support network upgrades, maintenance, and optimisation activities
• Document network configurations, procedures, and standards

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with IP networking protocols including OSPF and BGP
• Experience designing telecom or mobile core network architectures
• Knowledge of ACI, EVPN-VXLAN, and data centre technologies
• Firewall and security experience with technologies such as Fortinet, F5, or Check Point
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE highly regarded
