Join the team working with the client as a Dynamics 365 Developer (Technical Specialist). This is a long-term contract through to 31 January 2027, with a strong likelihood of multiple 12-month extensions beyond the initial term. The role sits within a well-established ICT team where you'll be an integral part of the ICT team, focusing on developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power Platform solutions. The client is seeking a good cultural fit, placing emphasis on communication skills, engagement, autonomy and adaptability.

As the selected candidate, you will:
Technical Skills
- Strong experience developing and supporting solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service and the Power Platform.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including table design, relationships, business rules, forms, views, dashboards, security roles and environment management.
- Experience developing Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Automate cloud flows and workflow automation solutions.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript and/or TypeScript for Dynamics 365 customisations, plugins, custom workflow activities and client-side scripting.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, Dataverse Web API, custom connectors and enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Managed Identities and Entra ID integration.
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions with enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and external line-of-business systems.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM), solution management, environment strategies and deployment processes.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Understanding of security, governance, licensing and operational management within Microsoft Power Platform environments.
Functional Skills
- Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Strong understanding of Customer Service business processes, including case management, queues, routing, service level agreements (SLAs), knowledge management and work allocation.
- Experience designing business process automation and workflow solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, business analysts, testers and technical teams to design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Experience conducting requirements workshops, solution design sessions and technical reviews with business and project stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and resolution of complex application issues.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, support documentation and operational procedures.
- Understanding of governance, security and compliance considerations when delivering enterprise business applications.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments using Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
