Key responsibilities:
- Process GIPA applications in accordance with Council’s practices and procedures with the Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998.
- Administer and undertake other access to information requests such as subpoenas.
- Local government experience and experience processing GIPA applications is essential.
- Previous Governance experience is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation including the Local Government Act 1993, Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 and the Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998
- TRIM and CM9/24 experience highly desirable
