Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline customer service by responding to resident enquiries via phone, email, online channels, and face-to-face, ensuring professional and timely assistance.
- Resolve customer complaints and service requests by investigating issues, providing accurate information, and coordinating with relevant council departments.
- Process administrative tasks including data entry, application processing, record management, and maintaining accurate customer information in council systems.
- Promote council services, programs, and policies by providing residents with clear guidance and information about council procedures, facilities, and community initiatives.
- Monitor and improve customer experience outcomes by identifying service trends, escalating complex matters when required, and contributing to continuous service improvement initiatives.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
