We're seeking an Electrical Panel Installer to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be responsible for wiring engine and generator components, installing control panels, and ensuring electrical connections are properly completed.This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, familiarity with electrical wiring tools, and the ability to understand and follow wiring diagrams and prints.What You’ll Be DoingAs an Electrical Panel Installer, your core responsibilities will include:-Small-Gauge Wiring: Install and connect small-gauge wiring for engines and generator heads according to wiring diagrams and specifications.-Wire Preparation: Strip, splice, and crimp small-gauge wiring to create secure and reliable electrical connections.-Control Panel Wiring: Wire control panels to generators, ensuring all connections are properly installed and secured.-Quality Accuracy: Follow wiring diagrams and prints carefully to ensure components are wired correctly and meet quality expectations.In addition, you will also be expected to maintain an organized workspace, use electrical tools safely, and assist with other assembly tasks as needed.What We’re Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:Experience installing or running electrical wiring, preferably small-gauge wiringAbility to understand and follow wiring diagrams and electrical printsExperience using electrical wiring toolsComfortable working with small-gauge wires and electrical componentsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow instructions and established proceduresReliable attendance and punctualitySkills:-Electrical Wiring: Familiarity with installing, routing, and connecting electrical wiring.-Wire Preparation: Experienced with stripping, splicing, and crimping wires to create secure connections.-Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using wire strippers, crimpers, and other electrical hand tools.-Blueprint Diagram Reading: Able to understand wiring diagrams and prints and use them to complete installations correctly.-Attention to Detail: Able to carefully follow wiring specifications and identify potential issues with connections.-Hands-On: Enjoys working with tools and performing detailed electrical assembly tasks.What We’re Looking For in a CandidateThe ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, mechanically minded, and experienced with electrical wiring.
