Country Head

A rapidly growing consumer products company is seeking an experienced Country Head to lead and accelerate its Indonesia business. This is a leadership role for a commercially driven professional who can independently oversee business operations, drive growth, and build a high-performing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall business operations in Indonesia and ensure sustainable business growth.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion targets.
• Drive sales, marketing, and business development initiatives across multiple channels.
• Build, improve, and optimize operational processes to enhance business efficiency.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry requirements.
• Partner with regional leadership to execute strategic initiatives and business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the local team while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Provide regular business updates, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and contribute to product positioning and portfolio development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading a business unit, country operation, or commercial division.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in growing sales and market share.
• Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Experience building operational structures and implementing scalable business processes.
• Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within Indonesia.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into business strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Prior experience within consumer products, FMCG, lifestyle, tobacco, nicotine alternatives, or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience from established consumer product companies, particularly within fast-moving or regulated industries, will be highly regarded.
