Our client is a high-profile independent NSW statutory organisation at the centre of delivering one of the state’s most significant public events.

This is a newly created Technical Business Analyst opportunity within a dedicated technology workstream supporting the deployment of almost 12,000 devices across close to 100 sites.

Role Description:
As an experienced Technical Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Technical Delivery Lead, internal technology teams, suppliers and project stakeholders to support the successful configuration, testing and deployment of devices across a large-scale, time-critical program.
The role is focused on strong BA fundamentals, technical requirements, documentation and delivery support rather than hands-on development or integration.
Responsibilities:

• Technical requirements: Elicit, analyse and document technical and functional requirements relating to devices, deployment and supporting technology
• BA artefacts: Develop and maintain clear technical BA documentation using established templates and standards
• Device deployment: Support planning and coordination of a large-scale deployment of approximately 12,000 devices across multiple sites
• Device configuration: Work with technical teams to understand and document configuration requirements and deployment needs
• Testing: Support solution configuration, testing and validation activities
• Technical collaboration: Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and appropriately delivered
• Supplier engagement: Collaborate with suppliers to clarify requirements, address issues and support delivery
• Workshops: Participate in technical workshops, planning sessions and delivery meetings
• Stakeholder engagement: Build effective relationships across technical, project and delivery stakeholders
• Risks & dependencies: Identify and document risks, issues and dependencies and support their resolution
• Cross-workstream collaboration: Work closely with other technology workstreams to understand and manage dependencies
• Documentation: Produce clear, structured technical documentation and supporting artefacts
• Delivery support: Assist the Technical Delivery Lead and broader project team in maintaining delivery momentum against fixed timelines

Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience working as a Technical Business Analyst across complex technology, transformation or implementation programs
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation capabilities
• Comprehensive functional knowledge of end-user devices and tablets
• Experience supporting large-scale technology deployments, device rollouts, site deployments, technology refreshes or go-live activities
• Understanding of device configuration, testing and deployment processes
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working with technical teams, suppliers and vendors
• Ability to translate technical information into clear and practical requirements and documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities within tight and time-critical delivery environments
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned deliverables
• Experience working across multiple technology workstreams and managing dependencies
• NICE CXone or other contact centre technology experience is desirable but not essential
• Previous government experience is desirable but not mandatory
• Experience in highly governed environments will be viewed favourably
