Senior Governance Data Analyst

Drive Enterprise Data Governance Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to support the implementation of a Data Governance Framework across a large and complex organisation.

Working across business and technology teams, you will lead stakeholder engagement, facilitate governance working groups, and help embed governance roles, processes, and decision-making practices into day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement data governance processes and operating models across business areas.
• Facilitate workshops and working groups to establish data ownership and stewardship.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to embed governance practices.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and barriers to adoption and drive solutions.
• Monitor progress and support the transition of governance activities into business-as-usual operations.
• Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders to achieve governance outcomes.

Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering data and digital transformation initiatives in government, regulated, or complex enterprise environments. (Essential)
• Demonstrated experience implementing data governance frameworks and operating models.
• Strong understanding of data ownership, stewardship, metadata, data quality, and governance processes.
• Proven workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience driving organisational change and embedding new ways of working.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills is key .
