Executive-Level Contract Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Master Scheduler to provide strategic scheduling leadership across a large and complex program portfolio.
This role is ideal for a career scheduling professional who can establish and maintain integrated master schedules, provide critical path analysis, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality reporting to executive stakeholders and governance bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of integrated master schedules across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Ensure alignment between project schedules, program milestones, dependencies and delivery objectives.
- Conduct schedule health checks, critical path analysis and performance reporting.
- Identify scheduling risks, issues and impacts, and drive mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert advice on planning, scheduling and program controls practices.
- Support portfolio governance, assurance reviews and executive reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement and capability uplift in planning and scheduling disciplines.
Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience leading scheduling functions within large-scale government, ICT, transformation or enterprise programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrated master scheduling, dependency management and critical path analysis.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies including PRINCE2, PMBOK and Agile.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Power BI and the Microsoft suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and work autonomously in complex environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
Desirable
- Experience working within Australian Government agencies.
- Current Australian Government Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain one.
