The following duties are required at the Hiroshima Plant, which manufactures electronic components for automobiles (centre displays, speedometers, etc.).
The process (board mounting/LCD attachment/assembly/inspection) you will be responsible for will depend on your latitude and skills.
1) Design of processes/development of production methods/introduction of production equipment
2) Start-up of mass production process
3) Productivity improvement after start-up
Job description:
1) Process design / method development / introduction of production equipment
1) Process design/process method development/implementation of production equipment 2) Examine processes/process methods based on design input
P-FMEA, Control Plan preparation
2) Planning of production equipment concepts and preparation of specifications.
Negotiate with equipment manufacturers, place orders, manage delivery dates.
2) Start-up of mass production processes
Production trials using new equipment.
Preparation of work instructions and implementation of training for the production department.
3) Improve productivity after start-up
Analysis of mass production quality issues
Monitor and analyse production efficiency.
Develop investment plans for improvement.
Implement improvements involving equipment manufacturers, etc.
Requirements
Skills/experience required:
- Experience of preparing for mass production in the manufacturing industry (common to all processes)
- Experience of managing and improving board mounting lines (board mounting process)
Other experience, etc. that you would like to have if possible:
- Experience in setting up new equipment in an automobile-related company
- Experience in process development/design/implementation of automated lines.
- Experience in starting up and improving processes using product inspection equipment and measuring instruments (inspection process)
- Experience in inspection processes in an electronic components factory (inspection process)
- Knowledge of PLC control equipment/robot operation (liquid volume attachment/assembly process)
