Parts Advisor

Winger Motors North Shore is looking for a Parts Advisor to join its busy Parts team in Wairau Valley.

Based at the dedicated North Shore Parts Centre, you’ll work across an impressive range of automotive brands including Subaru, Suzuki, Omoda, Jaecoo, JAC, Forthing, Jeep and RAM.

This is a great opportunity for someone with automotive parts experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing great service and being part of an established dealership group.

Working as part of the Parts team, you’ll provide efficient and accurate parts support to both internal and external customers.

The Role

  • Handling parts enquiries over the phone, via email and at the counter
  • Identifying and supplying the correct parts and accessories
  • Supporting the workshop and wider dealership team with parts requirements
  • Processing parts orders and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers regarding availability and delivery
  • Assisting with stock control and general Parts Department operations
  • Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers
  • Providing a high level of customer service at all times

About You

  • Previous automotive parts experience
  • Good automotive knowledge and the ability to confidently identify parts
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good computer and administration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
  • A current New Zealand driver licence
