New Vehicle Sales Consultant

Botany Toyota, part of the Manukau Toyota Group, New Zealand’s largest Toyota dealership group, is looking for a driven and customer-focused New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join its successful sales team.

Based in their modern, award-winning Botany dealership, this is an excellent opportunity to represent one of New Zealand’s most recognised automotive brands while building a rewarding career in vehicle sales.

You’ll be working with a strong flow of customers and enquiries, helping people find the right Toyota for their needs while building lasting relationships and delivering the high level of service Botany Toyota is known for.

The Role

  • Assist customers through the complete new vehicle sales process
  • Build strong relationships and provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Manage incoming enquiries and proactively follow up sales opportunities
  • Develop new business through prospecting, referrals and your own network
  • Work towards individual and dealership sales targets
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales information within dealership systems
  • Develop strong knowledge across the Toyota vehicle range and available products
  • Work closely with the wider sales, finance and aftersales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience

About You

  • Previous automotive or vehicle sales experience
  • A proven sales background and ability to achieve targets
  • Confident, personable and comfortable building relationships with a wide range of customers
  • Proactive with strong follow-up and prospecting skills
  • Motivated by targets, commission and achieving results
  • Professional presentation and excellent communication skills
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple customers and opportunities
  • A full New Zealand driver licence
