Our client, a well-established national organisation, is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager for an initial 9-month contract to strengthen delivery capability within its internal technology function.

The organisation is currently undertaking a significant enterprise transformation centred around Microsoft Dynamics 365. While an external Systems Integrator is responsible for the core D365 implementation, there is a need to establish stronger delivery disciplines, standards and ways of working across the internal technology team.

This isn't a traditional Project Manager or Scrum Master role. We're looking for someone who has built delivery capability rather than inherited it – Someone comfortable entering an environment where processes, documentation, planning and ways of working aren't yet mature and putting the right foundations in place.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assess the current delivery environment and quickly identify gaps across processes, governance, planning, documentation, tooling and accountability.
• Establish practical Agile delivery practices and standards using Scrum, Kanban and fit-for-purpose approaches appropriate to the team's maturity.
• Improve visibility of work through Azure DevOps, ensuring priorities, ownership, progress, dependencies and blockers are clearly understood.
• Introduce stronger disciplines around requirements, technical designs, approvals, documentation and agreed definitions of "done".
• Coach and influence internal technology teams to adopt stronger delivery behaviours, challenging existing practices and driving accountability where required.
• Work alongside technology leadership, business stakeholders and the Systems Integrator to embed sustainable practices while maintaining momentum across the transformation.

Skills and experience – To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience establishing delivery practices and standards within a low-maturity technology environment.
• Strong Agile delivery experience across Scrum, Kanban and Azure DevOps.
• Experience introducing structure and delivery discipline while significant technology initiatives are already underway.
• Strong stakeholder influence, with the confidence to challenge existing practices and drive accountability.

Nice to haves:

• ERP or enterprise application transformation experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience working alongside external Systems Integrators.

This is an initial 9-month contract with a competitive daily rate, based in Melbourne's Western Suburbs with a minimum of three days onsite per week and a preference for four.
