About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, you will support the delivery of a range of projects and work programs, working closely with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to progress agreed outcomes.
You will coordinate projects from planning through to delivery, facilitate stakeholder collaboration and translate discussions and consultation into clear, high-quality project outputs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating projects, work programs, timelines and deliverables
- Developing project plans and monitoring progress against agreed outcomes
- Supporting working groups, meetings and stakeholder forums
- Facilitating collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups
- Preparing high-quality discussion papers, reports, agendas, minutes and project documentation
- Supporting the development and review of guidance, policy and other written materials
- Coordinating consultation with subject matter experts and key stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate project records, actions and reporting
- Supporting broader project and operational priorities as required
About You
You will be an experienced Project Officer or Senior Project Officer with strong coordination skills and the confidence to manage your own workload and deliverables.
You will ideally bring:
- Demonstrated project coordination or project delivery experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Experience supporting working groups, committees or complex stakeholder groups
- Excellent written communication and document preparation skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills
- Experience within government, policy, emergency management or another complex stakeholder environment will be highly regarded
- Policy development or operational project experience will be advantageous
