Summary: Nesco Resource is partnered with a top-tier manufacturing company in Henrietta, NY seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate. This temp-to-perm opportunity provides candidates the chance to demonstrate their skills and transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. The Shipping & Receiving Associate will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory documentation, and ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse or shipping/receiving experience who are organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate:

• $19.00 - $22.00/Hour (Based On Experience)

Shift(s):

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, components, and supplies
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and related documentation
• Prepare, package, label, and stage materials and finished products for shipment
• Load and unload trucks while following proper material-handling procedures
• Accurately complete shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain required records
• Enter and update shipment, receiving, and inventory information using computer systems
• Inspect materials for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns and report issues as needed
• Organize and properly store incoming materials within designated warehouse areas
• Pull and stage materials for production and internal departments as required
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and other departments to ensure timely movement of materials
• Operate material-handling equipment and forklifts as trained and authorized
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with resolving discrepancies
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other warehouse, shipping, and receiving duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and accurately interpret shipping documents, labels, packing slips, and work instructions
• Basic computer skills including data entry and system navigation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Forklift or other material-handling equipment experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift
• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stage materials
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work around warehouse equipment and moving materials
• Ability to maintain productivity and accuracy while performing repetitive material-handling tasks
• Must follow all required PPE and workplace safety procedures
