Senior Project Manager

We're partnering with a leading technology organisation delivering large-scale, business-critical programmes that impact millions of customers. As they continue to invest in major transformation initiatives, they're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team permanently and lead the successful delivery of complex technology and operational projects.

This is a high-profile role where you'll work across multiple stakeholder groups, vendors, delivery teams, and senior leaders to drive outcomes in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.

About the Role
You'll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading complex technology and business transformation projects from initiation through to implementation
• Managing project plans, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting
• Establishing governance frameworks and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders
• Coordinating internal teams, delivery partners, and external vendors
• Driving successful delivery across software, infrastructure, integration, testing, and operational readiness workstreams
• Managing project financials, forecasting, and commercial outcomes
• Leading deployment, cutover, transition, and post-implementation activities
• Building strong relationships across executive, operational, and technical stakeholder groups

About You
We're looking for a seasoned project delivery professional who thrives in complex environments and can confidently lead large-scale initiatives involving multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.

You'll bring:

• 10+ years' experience delivering large and complex technology projects or programmes
• Strong project governance, risk, issue, and dependency management experience
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Experience delivering software, systems integration, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects
• Strong commercial and financial management capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments

Highly Regarded Experience within one or more of the following environments would be advantageous:

• Transport technology, ticketing, payments, or mobility solutions
• Public sector or government programmes
• Customer-facing digital platforms
• Critical infrastructure environments
• Large-scale systems integration and technology transformation programmes
