General Laborer (Contract)

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking dependable General Laborers to assist a manufacturing company with relocating operations to a nearby facility. This is a hands-on position primarily focused on packing, palletizing, cleaning, moving materials and equipment, and loading trucks throughout the relocation process. This role is a contract opportunity, expected to last until October 31st, 2026. Contract employees that show dedication, display excellent attendance and attitude, and show a willingness to learn may earn a longer-term role within the company after the move is completed!

Pay Rate:

• $20.00/Hour

Shift:

• Monday – Thursday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Some flexibility on start time, if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack and prepare materials, equipment, and supplies for transport
• Palletize products and materials for safe movement
• Load and unload trucks
• Move boxes, equipment, materials, and supplies throughout the facility
• Assist with organizing and staging items before and after the move
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Break down and prepare work areas for relocation
• Safely lift, carry, and move materials throughout the facility
• Assist with setup and organization at the new facility as needed
• Follow all workplace safety procedures
• Perform additional general labor duties as needs change throughout the project

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, moving, or general labor experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to assist in different areas as project needs change
• Strong work ethic and attention to safety

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Active manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Regular lifting and moving of materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Hands-on work throughout the majority of the shift
• May work in both the existing and new manufacturing facilities during the relocation project
