The Role
- Partner closely with business unit leaders to provide practical financial advice, performance insights, and challenge that drives better resource decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support accurate planning and operational priorities.
- Prepare timely month-end and management reports with clear commentary to aid executive and governance decision-making.
- Develop robust financial models and business cases to evaluate service initiatives, pricing, and investments.
- Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, systems, and controls for greater efficiency and data quality.
- Support compliance, governance, audit, and stewardship of organisational resources.
- Contribute collaboratively within the Finance team and across the wider organisation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance, or related field, with CA ANZ (or equivalent) qualification
- Proven experience in management accounting, finance business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling in a complex environment
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear advice for non-financial stakeholders.
- Collaborative, solutions-focused communicator with high integrity, relationship-building ability, and a commitment to continuous improvements
- Experience in not-for-profit, healthcare, or purpose-led sectors is highly advantageous.
