Jayce Grayye Consulting is seeking an experienced and dynamic sales professional for our client, a thriving plastics fabrication company in Elkhart, IN, specializing in custom CNC machining, thermoforming, and assembly. This opportunity is for an Outside Sales Representative who will manage existing accounts while actively pursuing new ones to sustain our client’s current growth trajectory, all while delivering exceptional service and support. Mandatory Requirements
- 3+ years of successful manufacturing sales experience selling custom products – plastic, wood, or metal- are acceptable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Professional with solid work ethic, sales/customer knowledge, negotiating skills, performance-driven, relationship builder.
- Local and overnight travel is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams and other virtual meeting platforms.
- Regular, reliable attendance and the ability to work outside regular hours as necessary.
Other Important Skills
- Knowledge of plastics applications and processes.
- Experience in product design and development.
- Understanding of CAD drawings.
- Ability to analyze and recommend manufacturing proper products for specific applications.
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service.
- Possess technical knowledge of boats and the boating industry.
Essential Functions
- Effectively communicate engineering specifications and accurately detail project design intent.
- Proactively search, identify, and obtain business opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Serve as the primary, face-to-face representative of Our Client to the customer.
- Correctly identify customer needs to meet expectations while understanding the manufacturing process.
- Take immediate action on customer issues to ensure business retention and perform additional follow-ups as needed.
- Interact with customers regularly.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding procedures, pricing, and lead time.
- Communicate regularly with engineers and plant management to determine design requirements, production timelines, and any other matters related to customer requests.
Compensation
- Salary $80,000 - 100,000 commensurate with experience
- Commission
