We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a public sector organisation on a six-month fixed-term.
You’ll be part of a skilled and collaborative finance team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality management reporting, analysis, and financial advice. Your work will support senior leaders to understand performance, identify opportunities, and make well-informed business decisions.

About the role
This is a varied and rewarding position with strong exposure to business partnering and performance reporting.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with stakeholders across the business.
- Prepare accurate and insightful monthly management reports, variance analysis, commentary, and dashboards.
- Deliver financial analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide timely insights and advice to support key business decision making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You are an experienced Management Accountant who enjoys working closely with the business, understanding performance drivers, and delivering meaningful financial insight.
You will bring:
- CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Proven experience in management accounting and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and advanced Excel capability.
- The ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach, with strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
