What You’ll Be Doing

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and developing a portfolio of national distributor accounts, including rental companies and industrial end users
- Generating new business through proactive prospecting and joint field visits with distributor representatives
- Engaging at senior levels — C-suite, General Managers, Operations Managers, and Purchasing contacts
- Preparing proposals, managing the full sales cycle, and closing high-value capital equipment orders
- Contributing to sales reporting and coordinating with internal logistics and administration teams
- Travelling nationally on a quarterly basis to support key accounts and new business activity
- Demonstrated experience selling capital equipment or technical products — backgrounds in agricultural machinery or construction equipment sold through dealer networks are well suited, as is experience selling industrial power generation or compressed air equipment direct to end users
- A commercially minded approach with the ability to manage long sales cycles and large-value transactions
- Confidence engaging at senior stakeholder level, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- A technical aptitude — comfortable discussing product specifications and application requirements with distributors and end users
- Based in Western Sydney (Smithfield) — hybrid working is available
