The opportunity exists for a strategic CFO with strong investment discipline to join at a key juncture, to support their Group’s growth agenda and drive towards best practice.
Overseeing a broad, high-impact remit covering capital strategy and structuring, financial integrity, technology direction, and commercial performance - leading the Finance, and Technology functions as a trusted partner to the CEO and Board.
- Oversee investment, capital allocation, funding, and acquisitions, introducing disciplined evaluation, effective governance, financial modelling, and successful execution and integration of growth opportunities
- Strategic partner to the CEO and Board, providing commercial and financial leadership to support business growth, investment decisions, and long-term strategy
- Lead financial strategy and performance, including long-term planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and proactive insight to drive informed decision-making
- Ensure strong financial governance, reporting, treasury, and risk management, maintaining compliance, robust controls, and effective stakeholder relationships
- Drive digital transformation and technology strategy, championing AI, automation, systems integration, data capability, and cybersecurity to improve business performance
- Lead commercial efficiency initiatives, optimising supplier performance, cost management, and value creation across the business
- Develop and lead high-performing Finance and Technology teams, fostering collaboration, capability, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement
- Enable sustainable business growth through disciplined financial management, strategic leadership, and a focus on operational excellence.
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent); MBA or post-graduate qualifications advantageous
- Proven CFO (or equivalent) with multi-site sector experience (hospitality, retail, healthcare or consumer businesses)
- Deep experience in investment structuring, capital allocation, banking relationships, and debt optimization
- Strong track record with financial modelling (corporate valuation / 3-way models)
- Demonstrated track record leading financial transformations, ERP enhancements, and acquisition activity
- Experience with trust structures, complex group entities, and Board-level governance; proven experience advising on dividend and distribution policy, is highly regarded
