Quality Coordinator

Product range responsibility:

• Electronics products
• Lighting/ Lighting related electronics commodities

Main Task:

• Clear analysis and administration of customer quality status and complaints
• Handling the customer claim from day 1 with frequent customer visits
• Immediate reaction to customer complaint by collecting issue and rejected part
• Handling of rejections per agreed flow chart
• Active follow-up of data flow between customer and the plant quality
• Follow-up of NG part handling from reporting NG part to issue closure
• Conveyance of the customer's way of thinking, methods and expectations to the plant quality
• Contribution to and checking of the necessary documentation on customer complaints and its root cause analysis
• Follow-up of timely processing of input as well as quality of input (8-D)
• Communicate and facilitate new project quality together with project and QD team as a customer quality window
• Support supplier quality assurance activity based on the request from SQA
• Support any quality related issue about JOEM and the company.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

•  Minimum of 5yrs quality experience in automotive field
• School education: University graduates or equivalent by experience
• Languages: Japanese(native), English (business level)
• Professional qualifications: Electrical Engineering, Basic quality systems
• Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and logical problem-solving approach
• Strong advantage to the coordinating position:
• Strong planning skills
• Experience in production engineering / QA / good understanding of Measuring and testing technology
