About the role…
Reporting to the Group Head of Precious Metals Management, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities, maintaining accurate records, preparing shipping documentation, and supporting the day-to-day operational requirements of multiple business divisions.
You will play a key role in ensuring inventory, freight and administrative processes run smoothly while maintaining compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight and logistics providers.
- Prepare shipping, customs and export documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain logistics records and update business systems in a timely manner.
- Source and compare freight quotations to identify cost-effective transport solutions.
- Coordinate warehouse, delivery and inter-site transfer activities.
- Monitor stock movements and support inventory reconciliation processes.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, brokers and transport providers to ensure service excellence.
- Investigate and escalate shipment issues, assisting with timely resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a logistics coordinator
- Experience in import, export and document control
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of freight providers, courier networks and shipping processes.
- Experience with customs documentation and international freight requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
