THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading distributor supplying products and solutions to customers across the construction and electrical sectors throughout Ireland.
With a strong reputation in the market and a growing customer base, they are seeking a Warehouse Manager to take ownership of their warehouse operation in Ballymount and lead a team responsible for supporting daily business activities.
THE ROLE:
The successful Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, ensuring stock is handled efficiently, customer orders are fulfilled accurately and warehouse personnel are effectively managed.
This is a people-focused leadership position requiring strong organisational skills, operational awareness and the ability to drive performance through a busy team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the daily operation of the warehouse
- Leading, motivating and developing warehouse personnel
- Organising workflows to ensure efficient order fulfilment
- Managing warehouse resources and staffing levels
- Maintaining stock accuracy and inventory control
- Supporting the implementation and improvement of warehouse systems and processes
- Coordinating goods inwards and dispatch activities
- Driving productivity and operational performance
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
- Working closely with internal departments to support customer requirements
- Monitoring warehouse KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities
- Developing a positive and accountable team culture
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, wholesale, builders merchants, electrical distribution or similar operational environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Supervisor experience
- Experience managing warehouse teams
- Strong people management and leadership abilities
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and stock control
- Ability to drive performance through teams
- Positive and hands-on management style
THE PACKAGE:
- Base Salary: €55,000 – €60,000 DOE
