About the Position

The school is seeking an English / Humanities Teacher for a 0.8 FTE fixed-term contract commencing Term 4, 2026. The successful teacher will deliver engaging English and Humanities programs while building positive relationships with students and contributing collaboratively within the teaching team.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English and Humanities programs aligned with curriculum requirements

• Maintain positive classroom management and support student learning and wellbeing

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and child safety

• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community

Requirements

• Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

• Relevant secondary teaching qualifications

• Ability to teach English and Humanities

• No specific faith alignment required

• Full Australian working rights

• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding process
