With an international manufacturing footprint and diverse global customer base, the business is undergoing significant transformation to further strengthen efficiency, scalability and operational performance.
My client is looking for a Global Head of Process Excellence to lead the transformation and harmonization of end-to-end processes across Innovation, Commercial, Supply Chain, Production and Logistics, with a strong focus on digitalization, automation and AI.
The role is based in Zug, Switzerland.
Responsibilities of the Global Head of Process Excellence:
- Define and lead the global Process Excellence strategy, developing state-of-the-art processes across the organization
- Standardize and harmonize end-to-end processes across Innovation, Commercial, Supply Chain, Production and Logistics
- Eliminate operational silos and bottlenecks to improve efficiency, responsiveness and business performance
- Establish global process ownership and governance frameworks to drive standardization and accountability across regions
- Develop agile demand and workload management processes to optimize capacity across global functions
- Drive the adoption of AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, RPA and process mining to automate and optimize processes
- Establish global KPI frameworks to measure process performance and quantify improvements across cost, margin, service and productivity
- Lead cross-functional transformation and change initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders and embedding new ways of working
Desirable requirements:
- 12+ years' experience leading global process excellence, business transformation or enterprise-wide change within a chemical, industrial or similarly complex organization
- Strong cross-functional experience across areas such as R&D/Innovation, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics
- Proven experience designing, standardizing and implementing global end-to-end processes and governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, AI, automation, advanced analytics and process mining
- Experience partnering with IT and CIO/CTO organizations on major enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of enterprise technology environments, including SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
- Proven ability to establish KPI frameworks and translate process improvements into measurable financial and operational outcomes
- Excellent change management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence C-suite and senior global leaders
