Senior Accountant

My client, a leading manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their production site in Kreuzlingen.

As the Senior Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal part in the Finance team, demonstrating a collaborative and analytical mindset with strong communication skills and a strong background in Accounting.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Oversee all site Accounting operations and ensure process accuracy
• Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and manage reporting
• Support budgeting and financial planning
• Lead SAP FI functionality and ensure financial data integrity
• Manage cash, FX, AR/AP, VAT, and insurance matters
• Ensure compliance with tax, SOX/ICE, and legal regulations
• Handle fixed asset Accounting and internal controls
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and the Shared Service Center
• Advise management on financial issues

Profile:

• Degree in Business Administration with certification in Finance/Accounting
• Minimum 6 years' experience in full-scope Accounting, in an international industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, US GAAP, Swiss Code of Obligation, and tax law
• Proficient in SAP FI, MS Office, and Excel
• Fluent in German and English
