ABOUT OUR CLIENT & THE ROLE
Our client is a healthcare organisation seeking an immediately available Payroll Officer to join the team on a short-term contract initially for 1 month with potential to extend. This role will work closely with the Payroll Manager to support a busy payroll function across a workforce of approximately 900 employees.
Working within a small payroll team of two, this is a hands-on position suited to someone comfortable operating in a high-volume payroll environment with strong attention to detail and confidence working with efficient systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process fortnightly payrolls across direct care and corporate staff
- Manage timesheet imports and payroll processing activities
- Support payroll reconciliations and payroll queries
- Work across Employment Hero, Business Central and Time & Attendance systems
- Assist the Payroll Manager with day-to-day payroll operations
- Previous high-volume payroll experience
- Experience with Employment Hero highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
- Available to commence immediately
