Project Deployment Coordinator

We are partnering with a major organisation to recruit two Project / Deployment Coordinators to support a large-scale IT infrastructure rollout across Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with coordination or junior project management experience who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and managing large-scale deployments.

In this role, you will work closely with store teams, technicians, and internal stakeholders to ensure after-hours infrastructure upgrades are delivered smoothly with minimal disruption to business operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deployment Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate deployment schedules across a large national network
• Communicate directly with Store Managers to organise deployment windows and site access
• Ensure technicians have the required after-hours access arrangements in place
• Manage rollout timelines while balancing operational and technical requirements
• Act as the key point of contact between stores and technical delivery teams

Change Management & Documentation

• Raise and manage Change Requests through ITSM platforms
• Support ITIL-aligned change processes and governance requirements
• Assist with CAB approvals and deployment planning activities
• Maintain accurate project and deployment documentation
• Ensure successful completion and closure of rollout activities

Business Verification & Issue Coordination

• Support post-installation Business Verification Testing (BVT)
• Confirm systems such as POS, networking, and back-office infrastructure are operational before stores reopen
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve any deployment issues quickly
• Escalate critical incidents where required to minimise business impact

About You

• Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Deployment Coordinator, or Junior Project Manager role
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and large deployment schedules
• Understanding of IT infrastructure environments, including networking and hardware deployments
• Comfortable working in after-hours deployment environments
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Google Suite / Google Workspace tools, particularly Sheets, is highly desirable
• Exposure to retail technology or multi-site rollout projects is preferred
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management frameworks
• Experience using tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms
• Background supporting infrastructure or technology deployment projects
