Position Summary:
The EHS Specialist is responsible for working with both local facility management teams to effectively direct, implement, monitor, and manage key environmental, health and safety issues inside and outside of the manufacturing facility. Areas of focus will be on compliance management, environmental, health, and safety planning and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
This position is 100% on site, rotating between both locations and may be required to work occasional off-shift and/or weekends depending on company needs.

Responsibilities:
This position is 100% on site, rotating between both locations and may be required to work occasional off-shift and/or weekends depending on company needs.
- Lead all EHS initiatives, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, EPA, DEP, and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses; develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Manage and investigate incidents and near-misses, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Deliver effective training programs to employees and management, ensuring safety standards are understood and practiced.
- Monitor and manage environmental compliance, including hazardous waste handling and emissions reporting.
- Partner with leadership and operations to integrate safety into all levels of the organization.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing related safety experience
- Preferred certified Lead Auditor – ISO 14001
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DEP regulations
- Communication, interpersonal, and training skills to engage employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and other computer software
- Additional certifications in EHS field are a plus
